Sassenberg/Vienna, March 15, 2019 - Forward-looking editorial systems and extensive services: At this year's tekom spring conference in Vienna, the gds group will be presenting its broad portfolio of technical documentation services. At the Austria Center Vienna on March 21 and 22, the full-service provider will be showing its customers and interested parties current product developments for the docuglobe and XR editorial systems at booth 09. Also in focus: iiRDS, Electronic Content Delivery and the CE process. 

The focus of this year's tekom trade fair is on ‘Information between man and machine’. “In keeping with the motto of the event, our appearance in Vienna will also be marked by ongoing digitization,” says Henning Mallok, Sales Manager of the gds Group. “Future topics such as electronic content delivery or standards for the exchange of information such as iiRDS move the industry and are noticeably reflected in the further development of our service portfolio”. The company is particularly looking forward to the opportunity to meet customers and partners from the neighboring country in Vienna. “In recent years, the development of the Austrian market has been very positive. We are seeing increasing demand for our product portfolio here and hope to make new sales contacts at the tekom conference,” says Mallok.

docuglobe and XR: Editorial solutions in focus 

The editorial solutions of the gds group will also be the focus of the trade fair appearance in Vienna: The XML-based editing system XR of the gds subsidiary Ovidius offers specific industry solutions such as XR/engineering or XR/aviation, as well as solutions with a completely individual design. As one of the market’s leading editorial systems, the intuitively operable docuglobe also supports editors in the fast and cross-sectoral creation of technical publications on an MS Word basis. 

The tool CE - EXPERT, which supports editors in the CE process and can be seamlessly integrated into the editorial solutions of gds, will also be shown at the gds booth. The tool helps to carry out risk assessments efficiently and to ensure CE conformity. gds-Sprachenwelt will also be a component of the trade fair appearance. Visitors to the gds booth can find out about professional translations, terminology or interpretation and transcription.
