Product Compliance: Implementing Conformity Digitally
Speaker: Ludger Bruns | Head of Service Consulting CMSE® – Certified Machinery Safety Expert, Certified PCO, Sifa
The demands on economic operators to ensure product compliance have grown significantly. Not only legal requirements such as the Machinery Regulation, Ecodesign Regulation, Cyber Resilience, and supply chain regulations, but also increasing customer demands for product compliance are posing significant challenges, especially for manufacturers.
Using its "Digital Product Compliance Concept" as an example, gds GmbH demonstrates how product compliance can be achieved. From supplier communication for RoHS and REACH documentation, cyber resilience, and compliance with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LKSG) to the digital (and compliant) provision of technical documentation, and ultimately the upcoming Digital Product Passport, the speaker will show how these challenges can be met in a compliant and efficient manner.
