Consulting & Training

Some compelling facts

A good translation starts with a high-quality source text. The quality of the source text largely determines the quality of the translation. This quality concerns both the contents and form-related aspects of the text. The content should include easy-to-understand sentences and the use of uniform terminology (throughout the entire corporate cycle), from R&D to marketing and sales.

Be prepared for future text and linguistic challenges by attending external or in-house seminars under the tuition of experienced gds Group instructors:

  • Terminology Work
Contents: How does terminology work work? Where do we start? Expenditure and benefit? Objectives? Which corporate areas does this affect? Who needs to be involved? Which processes have to be created and passed through? What are the required processing steps?
  • Terminology Management – the incremental development of terminological entries
Terminological data, additional and administrative data and development of entries
  • Translation-oriented Writing I
How to increase efficiency and reduce costs through well-formatted source texts
  • Translation-oriented Writing II
How to increase efficiency and reduce costs by optimizing content-related aspects

We can offer additional support:

  • Advice and support in the creation of a terminology workflow
  • Support during the optimization of your translation and terminology management processes
  • Support in the purchase of the required software for all aspects of translation and terminology

Your benefits

  • Increase your competency in handling terminology and language.

September 17, 2021, 10:00 a.m.

Aber was bedeutet eigentlich "computerunterstützt"?
