docuglobe is a Java application. For this reason, a Java environment, Java™ 2 Runtime Environment, is loaded when launching docuglobe. This is included in the scope of supply and does not have to be installed on the client system.

Note

Depending on the system configuration, it might be necessary to install .NET-Framework. Teh versions depends on the operating system.

In addition to the database, a file server is requried on the server because the files are not saved in the database. The advantage is that the database stays relatively small and maintains it high performance.

If no database license is available, the SQL Server 2008 R2 Express is included in the standard scope of supply as the database.
