Content management system docuglobe - functional specification
  • Connected documents are broken into individual information modules.
  • You edit your information modules in the familiar Microsoft Word environment.
  • Your information modules can consist of paragraphs, graphics, notes, individual pages or even entire chapters.
  • In addition, you can manage any file format (external files) on a modular basis,e.g. for adding and publishing attachments or for managing graphics.
  • The information modules are displayed in a tree structure (similar to Microsoft Windows Explorer).
  • Your document consists of a list of information modules linked to one another (parts list principle) and external files.
  • After all information modules have been compiled into a document, docuglobe provides the structure, creates the layout and adds the graphics and attachments.
  • Translation is "at the touch of a button". This way managing multilingual documents becomes simple and efficient.
  • Your publications can be published in a variety of media formats (single-source publishing). Examples include PDF files, online help (chm, html), Microsoft Word documents (doc, xml) or direct hardcopy output.
